Why did Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt devorce? (The Real Reason Will Surprise You A Lot)

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s split after 12 years together has left the showbiz world in shock.
According to reports, the 41-year-old actress, who cited irreconcilable differences, decided to end their marriage because she was "extremely upset" with the way the Moneyball star has been parenting the kids and so decided to seek joint legal custody, but not joint physical custody.
"This decision was made for the health of the family," attorney Robert Offer also said in a statement.
But according to a series of reports, their split could have brewing for years.
‘Disagreements in parenting styles’

Sources say the divorce is believed to have been down to Angelina being upset with Brad's parenting style and how he is raising the kids.
The pair have been quite vocal about their parenting styles in the past, with Brad saying it was his wife who works the hardest.
"When Angie has a day off, the first thing she does is get up and take the kids out. This is the most important 'to do' of the day," he told E! News.
"No matter how tired she might be, she plans outings for each and all. She has an incredible knack for inventing crazy experiences for them, something new, something fresh. I may be the bigger goof of the pair, but she invents the stage."

He also said he was heavily influenced by his “strict” childhood.
“I am [a disciplinarian] with the boys. Girls do no wrong so I don’t have to be,” the star, who was raised in a Southern Baptist household, explained.
“I feel like my job is to show them around, help them find what they want to do with their life, put as many things in front of them, and pull them back when they get out of line, so they know who they are.”

According to another source, the divorce had been a long-time coming because of the star's renewed focus on her health.
"When Angelina underwent her mastectomy in 2013, her health and life in general became a priority for her," they told Daily Mail.
"Her views on life changed. Suddenly she saw herself walking in her late mother’s shoes - and she was no longer that wild, fun loving woman she used to be, she was taking things a lot more seriously."
They added: "Angelina wasn’t really interested in doing any project that took her away from the children and home, but Brad was still wanting the wanderlust, adventure-filled life that first attracted him to her."
While it was also alleged Brad was worried about Angelina's slight frame, with a source previously claiming to the Inquisitr: "Brad fears an activity as innocuous as roughhousing with the kids could lead to a fracture."

Angelina Jolie's divorce lawyer just repped Johnny Depp and 11 other things to know

Divorce in Hollywood is almost as common as sunshine and paparazzi.
And everyone knows that if you want to come out on top, you hire the best of the best.
    Enter attorney Laura Wasser.
Wasser is known as the go-to-divorce lawyer in Tinseltown, and fresh off of representing Johnny Depp in his very conscious uncoupling from Amber Heard, she is now representing Angelina Jolie in her split from Brad Pitt.
In honor of the dozen years Jolie and Pitt have been linked in the headlines (they became the subject of speculation in 2004 and publicly confirmed their relationship in 2005), here are 11 other things to know about Wasser beyond her helping Depp get unhitched:

    It's in her genes

Wasser is the daughter of well-respected family attorney Dennis Wasser. The father and daughter practice law together at their Los Angeles firm Wasser, Cooperman & Carter.

Even her name speaks to it

Wasser's father named her "Laura Allison Wasser" so her initials would spell "LAW."
"My mom wanted to name me Rebecca," Wasser told CNN in 2010.

    Her client list

The list of clients Wasser has represented reads like a who's who of Hollywood.
In addition to Depp and Jolie, Wasser has represented Britney Spears, Kim Kardashian, Ryan Reynolds, Heidi Klum, Nick Lachey and many other celebrities.

    A well earned nickname

Early on, the tabloids dubbed her the "Disso Queen" -- as in dissolution of marriage.

    A published author

Her book, "It Doesn't Have to Be That Way: How to Divorce Without Destroying Your Family or Bankrupting Yourself," was published in 2013.

She has personal experience with divorce

The high profile attorney's first case hit close to home.
She represented herself during her divorce in 1993 from a man she met while a student at Loyola Law School.
Wasser told Interview magazine that she has very definite ideas about marriage.
"I don't know that human beings were meant to mate for life or be monogamous," she is quoted. "But, for me, the aspect of marriage that is troubling is that it's a contract that is governed by the state, and I don't want the state to have control over my personal affairs."

    Wasser is a mom

She has two sons from two relationships, but did not marry their fathers.

    She believes in pre-nups

The litigator says she's happy to negotiate prenuptial agreements, but told Vanity Fair she doesn't force them on her clients.
"If somebody comes to me -- the client, their business manager, their entertainment attorney, or one of their parents -- and says, 'I think at this point, [he/she] really needs a pre-nup,' then I will write the pre-nup," she said.

    Understanding the romance

In a 2013 interview with The Telegraph, Wasser said she understands why so many Hollywood celebrities seem to have multiple marriages.
"A lot of Hollywood is fantasy and when that idea of walking down the aisle in a beautiful dress or suit is so lovely, and you've got unlimited funds, why wouldn't you want to do it time and time again," she said. "They think: 'So, the first one didn't work out and the second one didn't work out, but this one really is the one!' I'm being glib, but if there's one thing I've learned, it's that people love to get married."

Don't look for a reality show anytime soon

Wasser has said she's been approached but has absolutely no desire to become a reality TV star.

    Wasser is still famous anyway

The lawyer makes regular TV appearances and has graced the pages of several fashion magazines including Elle, which said she made "the tough business of divorce look polished, professional, and downright sexy."

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt divorce: What's at stake

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may have made millions between them since marrying in 2014, but as the two negotiate the terms of their just-announced divorce, one expert says their biggest battle could end up being over children, not wealth.

Jolie filed for divorce Monday after separating from her husband September 15, according to court documents.
In her filing, the Jolie asked the court to grant her sole physical custody of the couple's six children, with visitation rights for Pitt, who would retain joint legal custody.
"Children are a very precious commodity that money can't buy," celebrity divorce attorney Neal Hersh told CNN in an interview. "So of course if someone is saying they want to limit your time with the children and you disagree with that, that becomes an area of contention and a significant one often times."
The couple's children are Maddox, 15; Pax, 12; Zahara, 11; Shiloh, 10; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.

It is not yet confirmed by either Jolie or Pitt's representatives if a prenuptial agreement was in place, but according to a Forbes estimate, the two have earned about $117.5 million since their 2014 marriage.
Hersh, who has over 40 years of experience in family law, said if a prenup exists, it would be a "thorough" document that would orchestrate the division of property in the case of divorce, including respective and joint earnings. In California, however, such agreements are prohibited from addressing issues of child custody.
"The issue here between these two folks -- if there's going to be an issue -- is going to have to be with the custody of their kids," he said
In her filing, Jolie does not ask for spousal or child support.

Jolie is represented in this case by Laura Wasser, who was also her attorney during her split Billy Bob Thornton, according to a Bloomberg profile. Her other clients have included Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Garner, and Britney Spears.
In many high-profile celebrity divorces, the terms of the split are negotiated prior to filing official documents in order to preserve discretion. This was the case when Wasser arranged the 2014 divorce of client Melanie Griffith and then-husband Antonio Banderas, according to Bloomberg.
But Hersh said Jolie's "limiting" custody request indicates that was not the case here.
"That would tend to indicate to me that there's going to be contentious aspects of this and that it was not completely pre-packaged, if at all," he said.
"I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the wellbeing of our kids," Pitt said in a statement to CNN on Tuesday. "I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time."
A representative of Jolie indicated she shares Pitt's desire to keep their children out of the media spotlight.
"This decision was made for the health of the family," Robert Offer, an attorney for Jolie told CNN in a statement Tuesday. "She will not be commenting at this time, and asks that the family be given their privacy during this difficult time."

Scary People Want Donald Trump Dead

Donald Trump is continuing his anti-Mexico tirades about deportation and has the attention of someone he would rather not have notice him. Mexico drug lord, El Chapo, is upset with Trump’s ramblings and has placed a sizable award to anyone who can bring him Trump dead or alive.

Donald Trump has been making waves lately for his “Presidential Campaign,” and one of his most aggressive stances is on keeping Mexican people out of America. Supreme Mexican drug lord, Joaquin Guzman aka El Chapo (The Shorty) has vowed Trump will “swallow his words,” and put a bounty on Trump’s head.

No stranger to bounties himself, El Chapo, who gets his name from his small stature, was on the run from authorities for over a decade before being arrested in 2014. Guzman recently broke out of a maximum security prison in a daring escape and there is now a hefty bounty for his capture.

While he was in prison, El Chapo heard of Trump’s strong and harsh words towards the Mexican people, accusing them of sending criminals and rapists to the U.S. The drug kingpin had been plotting with cellmates that when he escaped he would do something about The Donald.

The billionaire Mexican drug leader has offered up a $100 million bounty to anyone who can bring him Trump dead or alive. There is a $60 million MXN ($3 million USD) bounty for the re-capture of Guzman himself.

Just this week, Trump has made a stronger push towards removing illegal Mexican immigrants. He said he plans to deport all Mexican citizens in the U.S. without proper documentation. The blow-hard went so far as to say he would allow “the good ones” to reenter the States eventually.

When asked how he would gather up these nearly 11 million undocumented people Trump said he would not leave it to politicians. “Politicians aren’t going to find them because they have no clue. We will find them, we will get them out,” the real estate magnate said.

After escaping from prison in early July, El Chapo went to Twitter (which is ran by his son) and called out the Mexican President, Enrique Pena Nieto. The account mentioned that Trump would “swallow his words,” and made overtures that they would kill someone.

Inmates who served time while El Chapo was locked up say he spent a lot of time masterminding the death of Donald Trump. He was vocal about his hatred from Trump, and talking about murdering the Apprentice star gave him great pleasure.

An inmate is quoted as saying, “He wants Donald Trump dead and will pay any amount of money if meant he could have Donald Trump’s head.” Trump has heard about the threat and has beefed up security and even started wearing a bulletproof vest. As of yet, Trump is yet to publicly change his stance on Mexico-U.S. relations.
